How it works

The process for you as an Employer

1. Post a project

You can post all your projects for free after login or sign-up on the site.
It takes less than two minutes to post a project and you can start hunting your ideal candidate immediately after posting.
 

2. Review bids

Once the project is posted, our freelancing consultants can start to bid on your project. You can also search for candidates yourself and invite them to bid on your project.

During the selection process you can chat with the bidding consultants to get more details of the bids, or clarify the scope of the projects to them.

3. Accept bid & transfer credits

When you have found your ideal candidate with the winning bid for your project, you click on the “Accept Bid” button.

Now you need to transfer credits matching the winning bid. If you have pre-purchased one of our credit packages you can pay from your credit balance, otherwise you can buy credits at this point in the process.

Credits are safely kept by Globedesk as a neutral partner, and will not be transferred to the consultant until the project is finished and approved by the employer.

4. Work on the project

When the project is started you will get access to a project workspace where you may send private messages and share files. 

5. Finish the project

Once the project is over and finalises, the employer clicks the “Finish” button.
You will be requested to rate & review the consultant. With this step, the reserved credits will be released and transferred to the consultants credit balance.
This project is now considered as Completed, the consultant will press the “Review & Complete” button to review and rate back for the employer.

The process for you as a Consultant

1. Make a profile

To be a part of the Globedesk Gig team, you simply fill in your profile for free.
It will include your basic information, CV and additional results from previous testing scores or work related results.
Send an email to info@globedesk.one to schedule interview and testing.

2. Globedesk Gig interview and testing

If you pass the initial screening of the Globedesk team, you will be asked for an interview and also testing, depending on your professional background.
Once that is achieved, you are free to use the Globedesk gig platform. 

3. Bid on a project

When you see a project you are interested in, simply press the button “Bid” and describe your bid. You will need to specify a price (in USD), a timeframe, and motivate why you are a good candidate for the project.

The employer will receive a notification about your interest. 

4. Accept an offer

When the employer likes what he sees in you, they will click on “Accept” your offer.
From there you can start working together. 

5. Work on the project

Once the employer has approved your bid, a project workspace will be available for both of you where you can  send private messages and share files. 

6. Finish the project

Once the project is over and finalises, the employer  clicks the “Finish” button.
A review can be written for the consultant.
This project is now considered as
Completed, the freelancer will press the “Review & Complete” button to review and rate back for the employer.

7. Payment

When the project owner finishs the project, you will receive credits (1 credit = 1 USD) to your profile.
You can withdraw credits when you have more than 50 credits.
The payment will be made to the PayPal-account that you have added to your profile.
